China Southern Launches A380 Service to Los Angeles from Oct 2012

China Southern Airlines starting 12OCT12 will begin Airbus A380 operation on Guangzhou - Los Angeles on daily basis, which will be the first international route for the carrier's super jumbo aircraft.

The A380 operation will replace current Boeing 777-200ER service. The airline was the first carrier to operate Boeing 777 aircraft on Trans-Pacific flight in Sep 1997, when it launched this route.

Reservation for the A380 flight opens today (26JUL12), up to 27OCT12. A380 Flights on/after 28OCT12 will be open at later date.
