China Southern increase Australia operation

Skyteam member, China Southern has announced that it is expanding its existing service into Australia with the following changes.

From October 31st it will launch a second daily rotation between Gaungzhou and Sydney, which is operated with A330-300 equipment. The route has seen over 64,000 O+D pax fly the route between March 09-10, with China Southern flying the majority of these passnegers,with some leakage via Singapore with Singapore Airlines.

On November 1st, China Southern will add a new 3x weekly service from Gaungzhou to Brisbane, a route that is currently not served by any carrier.
