Austrian axe Saudi service

Austrian Airlines will discontinue schedule flying to Saudi Arabia from December 18th of this year. Austrian currently operates a narrow body A320 on a twice weekly rotation. The current service currently operates on a tag flying Vienna-Riyadh and then to Jeddah.

The annoucement comes in the wake of Saudi Arabian Airlines cancelling its Vienna Jeddah B777 operation from December 30th, meaning that there will be no scheduled link between Austria and Saudi Arabia in 2010.
