Australia's Tiger launching Adelaide-Sydney

Tiger Airways' Australian carrier is launching a daily service from Adelaide to Sydney.

A Tiger spokeswoman in Melbourne says the Adelaide-Sydney service starts 31 July.

She says it will be a daily non-stop service using Airbus A320s.

According to Innovata it will be competing on the route against Qantas Airways which has 70 flights per week while Virgin Blue has 35 per week and Jetstar seven.
