Airline In Focus: Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific is the de facto flag carrier serving Hong Kong International Airport. The carrier is majority owned by logistics corporation Swire Pacific, with significant shareholdings from Air China parent CNAC. Cathay Pacific’s extensive network serves destinations throughout the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Cathay Pacific is a founding member of the oneworld alliance and wholly-owns short-haul operator HK Express.
Cathay Pacific is one of the airlines registered to attend the 2025 Routes Asia event in Perth, Australia. Routes Asia 2025 will unite decision-makers from the Asia Pacific route development community in Perth. The event Routes will create a platform for senior decision makers to meet and discuss the region's air services.
