Air Berlin sets sights on Venice
Air Berlin has announced it will expand its long-haul flights to North America and has started its first service to Venice.
The carrier said it would resume daily services from Dusseldorf to New York and three times weekly flights to Los Angeles, which had been withdrawn from its winter schedule, from summer 2009.
It has also unveiled 6 times weekly flights from Dusseldorf to Venice giving it unprecedented frequencies to the north Italian city.
