Air Berlin to serve Romania
Air Berlin, Germany's second largest airline, will be flying to Romania for the first time in summer 2010. From 18th May 2010 a non-stop flight will take off from Munich every Tuesday and head for Romania's Black Sea coast. The flight takes about two hours and its destination is Constanta. There will be connecting flights from Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover and Münster/Osnabrück. After Burgas, Dubrovnik, Krakow, Pristina, Sofia, Split, and Varna, the Romanian town of Constanta is Air Berlin's eighth destination in Eastern Europe. NIKI, Air Berlin's partner airline, will already be augmenting its presence in Eastern Europe in the winter: Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, will feature in flight schedules from February 2010.
