Air Asia adds KL frequency

Air Asia has revealed that it will add a third daily rotation from its main base in Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong. The carrier will begin the additional frequency from January 21st. The KUL-HKG sector is already considered a trunk route, with heavy demand between the city pairs. Currently opearing the on the route, are Cathay Pacific, operating also on a 3x daily basis with a mix of aircraft types, from their A330 to B777 aircraft.

The national carrier of Malaysia operates a 2x daily rotation meaning that there are eight daily flights between the city pairs.
