Aerosvit drops long haul routes

The national flag carrier of the Ukraine, Aerosvit, has announced plans to drop two of its current schedule long haul services whilst axing plans for a proposed new service.

The Kiev based airline has revealed that from October 25th it will discontinue its services to Delhi, India and Toronto, Canada.

The airline currently serves Toronto on a 2x daily rotation with B767-300 equipment, whilst Delhi is operated on a wekkly basis with the same aircraft type.

Aerosvit has also revealed that will not continue with plans to resume service to Shanghai, China.

The discontinuation of the Toronto and Kiev service leaves no flights between these city pairs.
