Ernie Edwards has been appointed senior vice president and chief commercial officer for Aerion. In his role, Edwards has responsibility for all sales-related activity on Aerion’s Mach 1.5 As2 supersonic business jet. He reports to Aerion CEO Doug Nicols. Edwards retired as president of Embraer Executive Jets in late 2013. While at Embraer, he also served as vice president of sales and marketing for North America. Most recently, Edwards served as non-executive chairman of Veling Tayara Ltd., a Dubai-based leasing company for business jets.
