AIDC (Aerospace Industrial Development Corp.) F-CK-1
The F-CK-1—also called the Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF)—is a light supersonic combat aircraft developed in the 1980s by Taiwan’s state-owned aerospace company AIDC. Powered by two Honeywell/ITEC F125-100 afterburning turbofans, the F-CK-1A/B entered service in 1994. Including prototypes, 134 aircraft were completed by the time production stopped in 1999. Upgrade of an initial 71 aircraft to F-CK-1C/D standard was completed in 2013.
