Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, with its main hub at the Viracopos Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, was founded in 2008. Over the past five years, Azul has added 81 new aircraft including three Airbus A320neos, five Airbus A330-200s, 40 ATR 72-600s and 30 Embraer ERJ 190-200s, all leased. The airline now also owns two Pilatus PC-12s. The airline has 50 additional A320neos and 10 A321neos on order.

Eduardo Pina, Azul's purchasing supervisor, will be speaking at MRO Latin-America's "Adapting and Collaborating for Minimal Inventory (Airline Case Study)" on Thursday, Jan. 26.
