Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, with its main hub at the Viracopos Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, was founded in 2008. Over the past five years, Azul has added 81 new aircraft including three , five Airbus -200s, 40 -600s and 30 ERJ 190-200s, all leased. The airline now also owns two PC-12s. The airline has 50 additional and 10 A321neos on order.
Eduardo Pina, Azul's purchasing supervisor, will be speaking at MRO Latin-America's "Adapting and Collaborating for Minimal Inventory (Airline Case Study)" on Thursday, Jan. 26.
