Chinese Drone Maker DJI Responds To Check 6 Podcast

"DJI has faced scrutiny in the last several months after an internal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo was leaked to the public. The memo is full of wild claims about DJI drones based entirely on the word of a single anonymous source – and it’s entirely false.

The facts are clear: DJI does not access customers’ photos, videos or flight logs unless they choose to share them with us. Customers have full control over their data. DJI’s Local Data Mode allows pilots to fly sensitive missions with all Internet connections turned off for an extra level of security. An independent investigation by the cybersecurity firm Kivu Consulting backs all of this up – while no named source has ever verified the wild allegations in the ICE memo.

DJI became the world’s leading drone company by building stable, reliable and robust drone platforms that businesses, governments and other high-security customers rely on to do their work better, faster, safer and more efficiently."
