As the Trump administration pushes NATO to abide by the 2% of GDP agreement they made, undoubtedly most of that additional defense spending will be channeled towards European military products, and not American if they can help it.

"as the V-22 production winds-down, the Navy is working to sign additional customers". Huh? The navy is selling aircraft now? When was the US navy privatized? Are we fascists yet?

The ITAR restrictions are one of the biggest annoyances to countries buying US weaponry. Having paid out billions of US$ for possibly the best kit available, they do not want to be told; 'you can't use equipment supplied by us against country X,Y or Z'.

That's really not how ITAR restrictions work.

Hasn't the OA-X Light-Attack Demo already been done with the LAAR or LAR competition that chose the A-29 Super Tucano Twice?

Why is the Scorpion in the picks on this Demo/Competition there's only one or two in existence & they haven't been configured for LAR Missions as far as I've read. Twice the cost of a Super Tucano & it operates at three time the cost.

AS most well know the US Special Forces proved this concept in Combat in Iraq & Syria (2015) with two 40yr old Ov-10 Bronco's. Why is there another step in this procurement that the Special Forces have been requesting for over a decade & a half?

Can anyone get the RCAF down to see this we need to stretch the CF-18's out for a few more years ;).
