Hawk Delivery Proves Made In Saudi Capability

Saudi Arabia’s ability to assemble complex combat air platforms was demonstrated at WSD by the delivery of the last of 22 locally assembled BAE Systems Hawk Mk.165S. This promises to strengthen the Kingdom’s credentials when it comes to the manufacture of more advanced aircraft types, perhaps including participation in a sixth generation fighter for the RSAF.

Pakistanis Put New JF-17C On Show

The Pakistan air force is showing off a brand-new Chengdu JF-17C at WDS, just three months after it made its public debut at the Dubai airshow.

The jet is the first unit to be re-equipped with the JF-17C. A second squadron is believed to have now re-equipped in the south of the country.

With all the new systems and weapons that are being added, the new Block 3 elevates the Pak-Sino-designed jet into a new sphere.
