The company recently celebrated its 100,000th standard parts order, delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force. FSG provides services for a wide array of aircraft types across business, general, commercial and military markets.

Product: Based in Madrid, Spain, Gestair operates as the only base maintenance center in Southern Europe approved to provide scheduled maintenance service for popular aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Dassault, Gulfstream, Hawker and Textron Aviation. Gestair offers a large suite of services including MRO, aircraft management and flight planning. Doubling as a charter operator, Gestair recently announced the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on all of its marketed flights.

In January 2024, Gestair revealed the selection of TrustFlight’s Centrik software for real-time operational fleet management. Gestair’s fleet of 35 aircraft will operate under Centrik’s holistic management system, which incorporates operators, MROs, regulators and airports. The system also reinforces Gestair’s Electronic Flight Bag system, according to Rafael Melero, Gestair Aviation’s managing director.

Product: Martyn Fiddler is a longstanding provider of aviation tax solutions, covering a wide array of specialties regarding import/export taxes, customs, corporate ownership and more. It operates from multiple locations across Ireland, the Isle of Man, the UK and the Netherlands. In 2023, the company launched its first Martin Fiddler Deal Center at London Biggin Hill Airport, where customers can access “complete support for business aviation transactions, created specifically to deliver low-risk and faster delivery for business aviation buyers, sellers and brokers.” According to the company, the center operates alongside the airport to provide aircraft transactions at a fixed price within a 72-hr. turnaround time—guaranteed.

Product: Aerdata, a Boeing company specializing in digital aviation and analytics, enables operators and MROs to manage aircraft, engine fleet planning and other services with operational support. Aerdata’s digital aircraft records platform, STREAM, allows users to consolidate aircraft and MRO data for a variety of uses.

Aerdata also offers Engine Fleet Planning and Costing (EFPAC) as a “total engine management solution specifically designed to support proactive risk management with visibility of financial exposures.”

5. Window Seat Shopping

Product: Executive Jet Management Europe (EJM), a NetJets company, provides aircraft management programs designed for individual aircraft owners and flight departments. As part of that management, EJM offers aircraft brokerage services in partnership with QS Partners, an aircraft brokerage firm. NetJets claims that “from an aircraft brokerage perspective, no other general aviation provider buys or disposes of more aircraft than NetJets,” due to the company’s relationships with manufacturers across the industry.

Among those partnerships, NetJets signed an agreement with Textron Aviation for an option to buy up to 1,500 Cessna Citation aircraft, including the Citation Ascend, Citation Latitude and Citation Latitude business jets over the next 15 years. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2025.
