NetJets, Union Reach Labor Agreement ‘In Principle’

Negotiators for NetJets and its pilots union, NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots, have reached an agreement in principle on a new collective bargaining accord, the union said.

The agreement follows a lengthy and bitter contract dispute that began in June 2013 between the fractional ownership company and its pilots.

Experts: CSeries Partnership/Sale Would Boost Bombardier BizAv

A successful sale or partnership for Bombardier’s CSeries commercial aircraft would be good news for the company’s business jet unit, experts say.

Bombardier’s business jet division is its “crown jewel,” Teal Group vice president of analysis Richard Aboulafia said.

“They could rediscover what matters, which is their high-profit business jet unit,” Aboulafia said.
Bombardier developed the CSeries to the detriment of its business jet business, he said.
