Canadian Airline WestJet Posted A 50.1% Traffic Gain Last Month

Canadian airline WestJet posted a 50.1% traffic gain last month, outpacing a 44.4% increase in capacity. Load factor was up 3.0 percentage points to 78.7%. The carrier reported a 73.3% load factor for the first six months of the year, down 1.4 points from the same period in 2000.
