Worldspan reported that its global reservation system is ready for the European Union's Jan. 1 conversion to the euro. The system has supported the euro as a currency option since it was introduced in January 1999. The euro is now the system's default currency with the Euro Zone of 12 countries. Effective Dec. 15, all transactions in the Euro Zone are displayed and recorded in euros.
