Mitsubishi Aircraft is set to announce a second delay to the Mitsubishi Regional Jet schedule amid undisclosed development difficulties, easing pressure on Embraer to move quickly in upgrading the rival E-Jets. Manufacturing of parts for the first MRJ prototype will begin this month or next, says Hitoshi Iwasa, vice president for sales and marketing.
