Lauda Italia finalized an agreement with Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE) for two Airbus A321s. The aircraft have a ten-year lease term and are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2003. Planned routes for the aircraft include destinations in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Nikki Lauda and the Ventaglio Group jointly own Lauda Italia. The carrier also flies long-haul routes to the Caribbean and South America. -LR
