KLM Engineering & Maintenance leverages its operations expertise with its MRO experience to provide airframe, engine and component service, as well as modification programs. O&M: How big is your operation? Meyer: We have some 5,000 people at Schiphol Airport and a further 300 at line stations worldwide; a turnover of around 950 million, 60% of which is from KLM and the rest from other customers. We provide a full range of services -- airframe, engines, components, etc. -- but the backbone of our operation is really Boeing 737 and 747 series aircraft, including Next Generation, old, new, freighters -- everything.
