JetBlue reported a small year-over-year increase in its load factor for September, but its preliminary figures showed a passenger unit revenue decline of 9%. The load factor rose 0.9 points, to 77.6%, as the 9.8% increase in traffic outpaced the 8.6% increase in capacity. For August, JetBlue had reported a 6% decline in passenger unit revenue, based on preliminary figures, with no change in traffic.
