Lawmakers on either side of the Wright Amendment debate shouldn't count on help from House Transportation leadership anytime soon. Transportation Chair Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) said he won't hold hearings on it until the Texas delegation reaches a compromise, sources say. Two bills, one to kill the amendment and one to close Dallas Love Field, are heading for a battle in the Senate.
