The Army's new MH-47G special ops helos have been supporting troops in Afghanistan since March. The Army's 160th Special Operational Aviation Regiment deployed the new Boeing-made tandem rotor aircraft. The regiment's spokeswoman declined to state how many have been sent forward for service.
