Fifty-Two Year Official Of FAA To Retire

Joe Flaim, manager of the planning and program branch in the FAA's Office of Regulation and Certification, is retiring after 52 years and seven months at FAA and its predecessor agency, the Civil Aeronautics Administration. Truman was president when Flaim started work.
