Emirates has been forced to raise business-class fares on three sixth-freedom routes from Germany and is considering filing a formal complaint with the European Commission. The airline said it is complying with an order issued by the German federal authority for goods transport “under protest.” The office says other airlines have been urged to raise fares, too, but it declined to identify the carriers.
