With no new aircraft programs to launch at the Farnborough Air Show, Boeing yesterday announced some large orders for its major aircraft families, and more announcements are expected today. Qatar has reportedly ordered 20 777s, previously listed by Boeing as unidentified orders. The Qatar order comprises a mix of -300ERs and -200LRs, with deliveries to begin next year.
