Sale of Alitalia’s AMS MRO business has run into a major hurlde now that state commissar Augusto Fantozzi, who is in charge of the parts of Alitalia not folded into Air One, has rejected a binding offer by Iniziativa Prima to buy 60% of the business. The offer was for €1 million, but Fantozzi was hoping for €2.4 million for the business, which is valued at €4 million.
