Fred Reid, a veteran of the commercial airline industry and a former president and CEO of Delta, has been named president of Bombardier’s Flexjet and Skyjet U.S. business jet operations. Reid most recently was CEO of U.S. startup Virgin America, but he had to step down in late 2007 for the carrier to obtain its U.S. Transportation Dept. certification.
