July 28 — At 1342 MST, a Eurocopter AS350B3 (N509AM) rapidly descended and collided with terrain in an urban area of Tucson, Ariz. The helicopter was operated by Air Methods Corp., as LifeNet 12, on a repositioning flight. It was VFR and the crew had filed a company flight plan.
