Aviation Week has won top honors in the Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards, the business-to-business media equivalent of the Pulitzer Prizes.

Aviation Week won “top brand/overall editorial excellence” in the largest category. And it won the “Grand Neal,” the recognition of the best among winners in all categories the Neal Awards cover—such as best series, best technical content and best website.

The flagship magazine, Aviation Week & Space Technology, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016. Over the years, Aviation Week has expanded into conferences, data and analytics. In its 100th anniversary year, Aviation Week and Boeing —which also celebrated its centenary—created a comprehensive online, searchable archive of the magazine’s articles, pictures and advertisements.

“We are thrilled to win this award,”  said Joe Anselmo, Aviation Week’s Editor-in-Chief. “Being recognized as tops in overall editorial excellence among all U.S. business-to-business information providers is an amazing honor.”

The Neal Awards were presented in ceremonies in New York on March 31. They honor the best reporting, editing, art direction and use of new media among U.S. business-to-business information providers.
