Gregory Hamilton, President

Gregory Hamilton is President of Aviation Week Network, a division of Informa.

He is responsible for the overall strategy and direction for Aviation Week Network’s digital, event, print and data/analytics services covering all aspects of aviation, aerospace and defense. 

Hamilton has been with Aviation Week Network more than 30 years and has held leadership positions in all facets of information and media, including editorial, business development, marketing services, communications and new product development.

Prior to his current role, Hamilton served as Publisher, Strategic Media at Aviation Week where he launched the group’s events business and expanded it globally. He also launched Aviation Week’s video and television services and expanded the group’s portfolio across the civil and government aerospace and defense industries, having served as Publisher of Defense Technology International and ShowNews and Co-Publisher of local-language media, including International Aviation (China) and Air Transport Observer (Russia/CIS).

Anne McMahon, Vice President, Data & Analytics

Anne is responsible for the product and market development for Aviation Week Network’s digital intelligence and data products and services, including the Aviation Week Intelligence Network (AWIN), MRO Data and Analytic Services, SpeedNews and AviationWeek.com.

In this role, she guides the overall strategic direction and implementation of digital product initiatives for these leading brands as well as the efficiencies and innovation required to continuously meet customer needs. She works closely with editorial, marketing, sales and technology to leverage customer input to strengthen the product portfolio and overall communication strategy.

With over 25 years in the publishing industry, Anne has extensive product and marketing experience primarily focused in b-to-b information & media. In addition, Anne has led many projects using business process and change management to increase efficiencies in execution and overall ROI. Prior to joining Aviation Week, Anne held positions focused on product and audience development and marketing at McGraw Hill Financial, Lebhar Friedman and The Economist. She has a B.S. in marketing from the University of Scranton and an MBA in marketing from Fordham University Business School.

Joe Anselmo, Editor-In-Chief

Joe Anselmo became Editor-in-Chief of Aviation Week & Space Technology on Jan. 1, 2013. 

Previously, he was managing editor of a global team of senior editors and senior business editor, writing the magazine's weekly Up Front commentary.

Based in Washington, Joe joined Aviation Week in 1993 as a space reporter for the Aerospace Daily newsletter and was named AW&ST's space technology reporter two years later. He left in 2000 for jobs at the Washington Post Co. and Congressional Quarterly, returning to AW&ST in 2004 as business editor. In that position, he covered a broad expanse of the aerospace and defense industry in the U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

Joe has won three Aerospace Journalist of the Year awards for his reporting. A graduate of Ohio University, he was elected three times to the National Press Club's Board of Governors and served as board chairman.

Lydia Janow, Managing Director of Events & Tradeshows 

Lydia F. Janow, CMP has been with Aviation Week for over 20 years, responsible for all wholly-owned events in the MRO community and oversees tradeshows the group attends.

Lydia has grown the event department to a global operation with attendees ranging from 20 to over 10,000 worldwide. 

Lydia has been a meeting planner for over 30 years, experienced in all phases of meeting planning including corporate, association, hotel and for-profit organizations. 

She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from the City College of New York, 1978 and graduated Cum Laude and Dean's List. 

Iain Blackhall, Managing Director, Global Media

Iain Blackhall is responsible for business growth across Aviation Week's horizontal multimedia portfolio, including digital, print and marketing solutions. 

He is also associate publisher for Aviation Week & Space Technology and manages international partnerships in Russia, China and the Middle East. Blackhall was previously Managing Director, EMEA, with Aviation Week. He has extensive experience in international market development and a strong track record for growing Aviation Week's brand, products and sales in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He has a keen understanding of our customers around the globe, is digitally focused, and drives revenue.

Iain joined Aviation Week in 2007. Previously, he was group managing director at the Shephard Group and has held several positions in digital and publishing companies over the past two decades. He is a graduate of the School of Business at the University of Leicester.
