Hawaiian Pilots Approve Contract Deal

Hawaiian Airlines pilots have ratified a new contract agreement that will provide immediate wage increases of as much as 45%. With 97% of eligible pilots voting, 76% decided in favor of the contract proposal. The airline reached a tentative agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association in February (Aviation Daily, Feb. 13). The previous contract became amendable in September 2015, although negotiations began in March 2015.
