April 23 — At an unknown time, a Bellanca 17-30A (N9693E) was heavily damaged after crashing at the Henderson City-County Airport (EHR) Henderson, Kentucky. The student pilot and passenger were killed. It was VFR, and no flight plan was filed for the Part 91 personal flight.
