August 5 — About 0940 EDT, a Piper PA28 140 (N5915U) crashed during a forced landing following a loss of engine power on takeoff from the Miami Executive Airport (TMB), near Miami. The flight instructor, student pilot, and a passenger received minor injuries. The airplane sustained heavy wing and fuselage damage.
