LONDON—Dublin-based aircraft lessor AerCap posted a $1 billion net profit for fiscal 2018, 5.6% less than $1.1 billion for the prior year. Revenue was 5% down at $4.8 billion. Basic lease revenue decreased just 1%, but maintenance rent revenue fell 25% and other income shrank 35%, causing the 5% overall decline.
