United Airlines will place its code on some Eurowings routes beginning Jan. 16, United told employees recently. The agreement includes flights from Hamburg to Prague, London, Toulouse, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Zurich and Manchester, as well as from Dusseldorf to Birmingham, Geneva, Manchester, Milan and Paris. MileagePlus members will receive revenue and status miles for the flights—but at least initially, they will not receive lounge access nor recognition of their elite statuses.
