Report: Aviation Biofuel Production Increasingly Reliant On Palm Oil

As ICAO’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) meets in Montreal to discuss which aviation biofuels will be classed as sustainable, international NGO Biofuelwatch has warned that alternative jet fuels cannot be sufficiently scaled up without relying on palm oil, which could have “disastrous” environmental consequences.
