Famous for its all-Boeing fleet, Southwest's fleet has grown dramatically over the past 10 years. In 2006, the airline had three types of aircraft: 194 Boeing 737-300s, 25 Boeing 737-500s and 232 Boeing 737-700s - totaling a 451-aircraft fleet. In the past decade, the fleet has grown by 261 aircraft with its current fleet including 116 Boeing 737-300, 10 Boeing 737-500, 476 Boeing 737-700 and 110 Boeing 737-800, according to Aviation Week's Fleet Discovery data.
