Utilization Change for Top Business Operators

Hourly flown figures for the leading business aviation carriers – extracted from the Tracked Aircraft Utilization – reveal that NetJets, Flexjet, Vistajet and flyExclusive have all experienced a Q1 2024 utilization total superior to the same period of 2023, as well as against Q1 2019. Wheels Up, meanwhile, experienced a 30% decline compared to Q1 2023 and 10% under its performance from the first quarter of 2019, as it restructured routes.

Significantly larger in fleet size to the other featured operators, NetJets cumulated just over 165,000 hr. during the period, having flown an average of more than 50,000 hr. per month since August 2021. The leading business carrier reached just over 60,000 hr. in March 2024 alone.
