This week, Aviation Week publishes two editions. On the cover far left, an Allegiant Air Boeing 757 lands at Las Vegas. Allegiant’s financially successful ultra-low-cost business model has been based on flying older MD-80s, but in recent years it has added newer types, such as the 757 (see page 42).
