Family, friends and colleagues of Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong gathered at NASA’s Johnson Space Center June 20 to pay tribute to the American who led humanity’s first expedition to the surface of the Moon. The tributes came with expressions of resolve to build on his accomplishments, and emotion over the loss of a modern legend.
