The European aircraft maker says it has signed a maintenance training collaboration agreement with Thai and will assist the carrier in achieving full(EASA) certification as a maintenance training provider. Airbus also will integrate Thai’s instructors into its global maintenance training organization, it adds.
With Part 147 EASA certification, for type and basic maintenance training, Airbus says it will be able to recommend Thai Airways as a maintenance training provider for other airlines in the region. Thai operates the Airbus, Airbus , Airbus and Airbus .
The initial plan is for Thai Airways to providing maintenance training for mechanics needing to work on A320s and A330s, says Airbus.
