International Lease Finance Corp (ILFC) ordered 50 more Airbus A320NEOs on the opening day of the Paris Air Show.

The commitment comes on top of an earlier order for 100 aircraft. Deliveries for all of the 150 aircraft are planned in the 2015-2020 timeframe.

ILFC has not yet made an engine choice on the second batch, however on the first 100 aircraft it split the order between Pratt & Whitney (60) and CFM International (40).

Separately, Lufthansa firmed up an order for a total of 100 Airbus narrowbodies. The deal includes 30 current-generation A320s, 35 A320 NEOs (new engine option) and 35 A321NEOs. Deliveries start in 2015.
