Session 34 TSA Repair Station Security Rule
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has finally released repair station security rules on January 13, 2014, subsequently lifting the ban on FAA certification of new Part 145 foreign repair stations. These rules affect repairs stations that are on or near to certain airports to implement certain security procedures to prevent unauthorized operation of large aircraft that are left unattended. This session will provide in-depth analysis on these security directives and how these measures will impact your MRO operations, domestically and internationally.
Moderator: Sarah MacLeod, Executive Director, ARSA (Aeronautical Repair Station Association)
