Malaysia Airlines took delivery of its sixth and last A380 this month, completing its order placed in December 2003. The aircraft (9M-MNF) also happens to be the 100th A380 delivery.
Malaysia Airlines is the second carrier to have its A380 order completed, with China Southern having taken delivery of its fifth and final A380 last month. Singapore Airlines took delivery of its last A380 in September 2012, but placed a follow-on order for five more in December 2012.
According to Aviation Week Intelligence Network's Fleet database, 161 A380s remain to be delivered to 18 customers although Kingfisher Airlines' order for five A380s is not expected to be fulfilled.
