The Dubai air show kicks off on Sunday and we're all anticipating a slew of aircraft orders from the big Gulf carriers. Before the frenzy begins, here's an overview of the current widebody fleet and order backlogs for the big three, all candidates for a big 777X order.
Assuming there have been no deliveries at the time of writing, there are a total of 324 widebodies in service and 364 on order across the big three, with the Boeing 777 reigning the skies over the Persian Gulf.
