Mubadala Aerospace has formed a new senior leadership team to manage its MRO companies, Zurich-based SR Technics and Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT).

The United Arab Emirates-based company says it will use the new executive team to create synergies between the two MRO companies, with the goal of growing global business. However, both SR Technics and ADAT will remain separate legal entities.

The announcement does not come as a complete surprise, as Mubadala executives hinted to Aviation Week in late August that its MRO leadership teams were becoming more integrated. “We are working closely together to expand our integrated component and engine solutions offerings to the market,” Troy Lambeth, CEO of Mubadala’s component and engine financing company Sanad, said. Sanad remains a standalone entity.

The new leadership appointments are Homaid Al Shemmari, chairman of the MRO network; Jeremy Chan executive vice chairman; and James Stewart group CEO. Other key senior leaders on the team include Abdul Khaliq Saeed, president, Middle East and North Africa; Andre Wall, president, Europe; Abdulla Mohamed Shadid, chief commercial officer; and Pierre Steffen, chief supply chain officer.
