AEI delivers second DHL  Boeing 737-400SF to Southern Air

Southern Air, which will operate for DHL Express in the Americas, has received the second of five deliveries of Boeing 737-400SF freighters from AEI. Built in 1997, the second aircraft is a standard gross weight Boeing 737-400SF and was converted at Commercial Jet’s Dothan, Ala., facility, one of five authorized AEI conversion centers.
 

Timco begins interiors modification work

Timco, a subsidiary of Haeco, has begun interior modification work on the first CRJ200 aircraft in a fleet operated by a leading North American airline. Retrofitting more than three-dozen of the same aircraft type, Timco performs the work at the company’s Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport MRO facility.
 

PART completed maintenance for South America Presidential aircraft

PART, an ARC Aerospace Industries company and Boeing Gold Care provider, has completed maintenance on a South American Presidential Boeing 737-500 aircraft. The maintenance included a C-check and full interior restorations and satcom and IFE upgrade.
 

Unison to supply turnkey solution for British Airways

British Airways selected tube bending machinery from Unison, a London Heathrow-based aircraft MRO facility. The order calls for Unison to supply a turnkey solution for fabricating precision tubular parts. One machine is a fully CNC all-electric model and the other is a semi-manual bender with CNC control. Unison also will provide all associated tooling with a portable coordinate measuring machine and advanced program generation software.
 

Avtrade establishes large Airbus A320 pool in Moscow

Avtrade and Holding Engineering have positioned Airbus A319/A320/A321 and Boeing 737 inventory at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. These parts pools will provide local component support to Russian operators within the region. Avtrade will manage the inventory comprised of about 100 part numbers and Holding Engineering will be in charge of sales, loans and exchanges.
